Анотація

В статье указан принцип действия призм: установка призмы перед косящим глазом переводит падающее на него изображение с периферии сетчатки на центральную ямку, что создает оптимальные условия для совместной деятельности обоих глаз и способствует развитию бинокулярного зрения. Названы основные цели назначения призм: 1) для измерения угла косоглазия; 2) для определения наличия бинокулярного зрения или функциональной скотомы; 3) для достижения призматической ортофории и выработки бинокулярного зрения; 4) для компенсации диплопии и исправления вынужденного поворота головы; 5) для диплоптического лечения косоглазия. Приведены основные данные литературы за последние 50 лет, касающиеся результатов использования френелевских призм при косоглазии. Указаны преимущества модифицированных френелевских микропризм, разработанных в Украине (г. Киев), и представлены результаты их использования.
