Article processing charges

All articles published in Ukrainian Journal of Ophthalmology are open-access and available online immediately upon publication. This is made possible by an article-processing charge (APC) that covers the range of publishing services we provide.

Once the paper is accepted for publication in Ukrainian Journal of Ophthalmology, the author will receive a personal invoice from the Publisher.

Authors of accepted papers of standard length must pay a publication fee of 8000 UAH or the equivalent value in currency of 215 US$ or 200 EUR for the foreign authors. For Ukrainian authors, the article processing charge has been reduced in 2026 and is now 3,000 UAH + VAT. Publication is free for members of the Ukrainian Society of Ophthalmologists (the first author must be a member of the Society).
