PRIVACY STATEMENT
- Article submission, the review process and all correspondence with authors and reviewers are conducted in the Online Manuscript Submission and Review System.
- It collects information such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address, affiliation, and areas of expertise.
- These data will be used exclusively for implementation the technical tasks: dispatch of letters on new issue publication and contacting with authors, reviewers and editors within the process of preparing articles for publication.
- These data may be shared with journal editors, editorial staff, publishing staff, and others that participate in the editorial and peer review processes.
- Editors do not share information about manuscripts, including whether they have been received and are under review, their content and status in the review process, criticism by reviewers, and their ultimate fate, to anyone other than the authors and reviewers.
- Editors don't transmit the users' personal data to third party organizations
- Requests from third parties to use manuscripts and reviews for legal proceedings are politely refused by Journal of Ophthalmology (Ukraine).
- Editors and reviewers are prohibited from disclosing the information submitted in the manuscripts before they are published online.
- When a manuscript is published, the journal keeps copies of the original submission, reviews, revisions, and correspondence for at least three years to help answer future questions about the work should they arise.
- When a manuscript is rejected, it is stored for 1 year to allow for assessment of errors and other concerns after publication and author appeals of decisions.
- Editors do not publish or publicize peer reviewers' comments without permission of the reviewer and author.
- By submitting a manuscript, authors agree to these terms and that the journal may store and use submitted information with respect to manuscript submissions and peer reviews.
