Abstract

In the study we investigated the activity of antioxidant enzymes (glutathione per- oxidase, catalase and superoxide dismutase) in the retina of rabbits in modeling age-related macular degeneration in allergic inflammation of the uveal tract. Found that of AMD against uveitis leads to a significant inhibition of antioxidant enzymes, especially superoxide dismutase.
